Long, long time ago before market was stacked with tons of makeup brush cleansers and soaking devices, common people (like me) relied on old-fashioned soap and water to deep-clean the s**t out of our dirty beauty tools. Well, not anymore! Just yesterday Redditor happyidiot3791 shared her super-affordable fun trick for cleaning her makeup brushes, and all you need is… a single LEGO base plate!

And also a little bit of soap too, obviously.

Here's how she does it: When her brushes are in need a good scrub sesh, happyidiot3791 places the Lego piece at the bottom of the sink with soap poured on top and lets the faucet run. She then grabs her brushes and slowly starts to swirl them over the Lego base's "bumps and grooves" to gently remove makeup, dirt, oil, and whatever else is caught in the brushes' bristles. Seriously, genius!

So you already know, you NEED to save your Lego parts! (Or just stealing from your little siblings) those little building parts will make an affordable, so easy to handle, great makeup brushes clean platform, and they are to fun to play with too! A real win!
